Saturday Children's Group

Every Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, the Bancroft Public Library invites children to attend storybook time for crafts, stories and much more.  See the events calendar for details.

Sip & Knit

Every Tuesday afternoon - starting September 26th from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm.  Bring your wool, needles & patterns to share and start that cold weather project, or finish one from last year.  Library membership is not necessary.

The Canada Reads 2018 Shortlist is Here.

The theme for Canada Reads is 'One Book to Open Your Eyes".  The contenders are The Boat People by Sharon Bala defended by Mozdah Jamalzadah, American War by Omar El Akkad defended by Tahmoh Penikett, Precious Cargo by Craig Davidson defended by Greg Johnson, Forgiveness by Mark Sakamoto defended by Jeanne Beker, and The Marrow Thieves by Cherie Dimaline defended by Jully Black.  Click here to see the books for yourself.
